How To Match Your Career To Your Personality.
The best way to career happiness and job satisfaction is doing a job that you love. They say if you do a job that you love you will never work a day in your life. This has a lot of truth to it. So why not match your career to your personality?
Carl Jung was the originator of the personality test in the 1920s. You can take a free Jung personality test here. For example, I am 61.54% extrovert! But I am also intuitive and thinking. What about you?
After you have taken the Jung test ask yourself the following.
Who am I? What are my likes and dislikes?
Be honest about who you are and what values you have, write them down. What do you really want to do? You can achieve anything you want.
Ask your friends.
Tell them to be honest and don’t let the answers hurt your feelings. If you don’t like something about yourself, change yourself.
Are you outgoing? An extrovert
Be an actor, singer or dancer. Being outgoing is a huge plus in life. If you meet people easily and can talk to anyone it will really advance your career and your life too. If you can’t think of anything worse than being at a desk all day then no amount of money will be worth how detrimental it will be to your life.
Have a sense of justice and love authority?
Learn how to be a police officer, or work in government.
Love the outdoors?
Be a landscape gardener, work in a zoo. Anything that includes lots of fresh air.
If you love reading you could be a writer, or if you don’t have the talent, a publisher. Publishing is a very good and rewarding career.
Think about your life realistically. Ask people what they imagine you doing. This will set you off in the direction of a long and prosperous career.

The San Francisco Chronicle has listed four careers that are easy to get into. Number one is nurses and skilled nursing assistants, number two is home care services and three and four is sales and labourers. Beauty Youtube Jobs
Do you love beauty? Maybe you love

make up or maybe you love both? There are so many amazing careers out there that you
Youtube.can get into that involve beauty, products and make up on a daily basis. Of course everyone knows about the typical Cosmetologist or Esthetician but here is a career option that you may not have ever heard of. Well, you probably have never even had this cross your mind.
Yes, I said it. Youtube. Everyone has seen those tutorials and guru‘s on youtube and often do not think that it’s a career option, but you better bet your ass it is! Some of those guru’s make 6 figures. 6 FIGURES! Can you believe that? All from recording their advise, beauty routines and reviews. Who woulda thunk it?
Of course, getting to the 6 figures point takes a lot of determination, initiative and motivation, but if this is something you are passionate about, the work won’t feel like work at all, and it will be so rewarding.
Aside from the obvious factor of having to work yourself up, you do need to know about social media marketing. Most of these gurus had no idea about online marketing and business and learned it all on their own, so it is definitely possible.
Another thing that is absolutely inevitable are haters. You definitely need to have a backbone to record yourself on camera, and upload it for the world to see. Unfortunately, everyone has haters. Actually, you will probably have more haters than lovers. It happens. As long as you learn to shrug the anonymous haters off, and realize that their words are nothing, you will be fine.
As for video editing, again, most of these gurus learned it all on their own. Experience and practise can go a long way.
This option can take a very long time to get to a career point, but with determination and experience and networking, you will definitely be able to succeed. Sure, there is a lot of competition, but isn’t there in any job?
Aside from being a beauty guru, there are so many other options of videos that can make you successful on youtube. Stay tuned for that.
Chemistry Isn’t My Thing But Maybe It’s Yours?
Oh, so you’re a chemistry buff? Well that’s something we definitely don’t have in common because I can’t stand anything that has to do with science. I kid you not. The second I could drop anything science related in school, I did. There was no rethinking that decision. I mean, I totally find science interesting, but I just don’t get it. So this is definitely a post for the people that are opposite to me. The chemistry lovers! What is chemistry anyway? Seriously, I’m going to have to google that bad boy. That’s how horrible I am with science. Bad, right?
Alright, with a little help from google I have found out that chemistry is the science of matter.

…You lost me already. I’m not even going to make you guys roll your eyes with me trying to figure this stuff out. As far as I know, chemistry has to do with anything that can be touched, tasted, smelled, seen and felt that is made of chemicals.
…Lost me again, but hey! Maybe this is your thing and if it is, good for you! You must be a smart cookie, especially if you plan on going into a career with this type of stuff.
See all I can say is “stuff”. That’s how I explain science. Stuff, thing a ma jigs, thingies….. My words make as much sense to you as science does for me., so I am just going to stop torturing your science buffs now.
Trust me, it will be much easier for you to just check out the best online colleges for chemistry related careers, as opposed to me listing some careers and trying to explain to you what they are. Seriously. I did a search and the first thing that came up was “Agricultural Chemistry“. Agri-what and chemista-who?
And that’s when I came to the conclusion that I will leave the chemistry stuff up to you. Hey! At least I gave you an entertaining (annoying) post to read?
Jobs Dealing With Money
MONEY, MONEY, MONNNNNNNNNNAY!
We all love money!! Who doesn’t?! I mean, money does make the world go around, and no I’m not saying that you need to be rich to be happy, but you definitely need to have money to survive.

For me, I just like money. I like earning it and I like to spend it. End of story. I can’t stand math, numbers and when I worked at Taco Bell and the charge was $3.14 and the customer gave me $5.14… I’d get confused.
So if you guess that this post is for the people that are opposite to me… you are correct! It’s all about jobs that involve money for the money lovers. Well, the dealing with money lovers.
The most common jobs that deal with money is an accountant or a financial analyst. An accountant job description can include various duties depending on the field of work, but all accountants deal with math and money. This is also the same thing for a financial analyst. The duties and task range from job to job, but essentially, math and money are the big “to do’s” of each day.
An administrative assistant job description can also require dealing with numbers and money. Being an admin assistant myself, I am going to advise that you don’t make the same mistake that I did when skimming over an assistant position. When you get to the interview, thinking it is a paper/filing/phone calls/email ONLY kind of job and they ask you what 2 times 2 is… and you freeze…. it will feel like the end of the interview can’t come soon enough. Or worse… it’ll come immediately.
Now bookkeeping may be a part of a admin assistant job description but being a Bookkeeping Clerk is a position within itself and deals with business’s bank accounts and tracks the funds and expenses and where everything goes and comes in… in regards to money.
Have you ever heard of a Loan Officer? I surely haven’t! A loan officer deals with loans, grants, bank scholarships, credit and all that good stuff. They are the person in between the money and the borrower.
Lastly, a Real Estate Agent deals with money, but more so houses. Of course, you need to know the prices of the homes, loans, down payments… okay, so it deals a lot with money.
And that’s my list! My list of money-dealing careers that you could get started with right now!

Hike For Life
What a title, eh? Hike for life!! On a serious note though, that is exactly what you can do! I have always been a lover of the outdoors and hiking and anything that gets me right into the nitty gritty of the earth. No, I don’t mean being an environmental engineer or anything because that’s just not my scene. I was always that little blonde girl going off to Eco Camp and Tree Camp while everyone else went to Model Summer or Crafty Kids. I simply love trees and hiking and trails and birds and all that good stuff!
While I was out on a walk the other day with my beloved doggies, I got thinking… imagine that you could hike and enjoy scenery… for a living. What a thought, I know. Then I realized, what is stopping someone from having a career in the outdoors and hiking and doing all that great stuff? Well, for me… it’s definite knowledge! I have no idea what kind of jobs allow you to hike for life, literally, so I decided to save you guys the trouble and tell you right now – saving you the research! I know, I’m fabulous, right?
The most obvious answer being some sort of a camp instructor that deals with hiking trails and wilderness. The only thing with this is that if it is a camp for children, which it probably is, the chances are that this isn’t a career move. However, there are some really amazing parks that are open year round that would allow you to be some-what of a hiker for life. Of course, there are a million other duties that come along with being a park patrol, but maintaining the trails and being outside is definitely one of it’s perks!
Alongside the park patrol option, there’s always the backpacker. You better believe it! You can be a backpacker for a career. How awesome does that sound!? Backpacking jobs often consist of having a group to lead, so if you like people and don’t mind hiking the same trail more than once, this may have your name all over it.
There are other careers that may come with some hiking such as a rescue search crew or a police officer, fbi agent… those sort of things, but we want to hike for life, right?
And you know what they say… choose a career that you love and you’ll never work another day in your life!
Top Ten FASHION Careers
If you’re anything like me, you love yourself some good fashion, but have heard that jobs within the fashion industry aren’t successful, or are too competitive or simply don’t pay enough. However, I started to think that people can say this about any type of job category. For example, how many people want to learn how to become a police officer? A lot! Do people change their dream job strictly because it’s competitive or not an extremely high salary? Absolutely not, and this should not be
an exception for you fashionista’s out there. So I have put together a list of the top ten fashion careers so you can get started towards your dream job!
FASHION PHOTOGRAPHER
Of course, you need to have some type of education or experience in photography, and if you do, or are interested in doing so, this career could be perfect for you. You’d get to meet amazing people, go to amazing events and take photos of amazing fashion. Imagine walking down the street and seeing your photograph on a bus or a billboard? Dream big, ladies!
FASHION ILLUSTRATOR
Similar to the fashion photographer career, you need to have some sort of talent, experience and/or education in the art department. I can’t even draw stick people, so I have personally ruled this one out for me. A fashion illustrator does the sketches and drawings of fashion items such as clothing, shoes, accessories!
PERSONAL STYLIST/FASHION STYLIST
It is as fun as it sounds! A personal stylist is just that – someone’s personal stylist. A fashion stylist is someone who creates looks for a model for photo shoots and such. If you know your fashion and create a fabulous look out of nothing, then this is definitely a career you should choose. I say this because anyone can go and put on clothes, but to create an outfit is a whole other story. Who do you think dresses all those celebrities for their photo shoots and stuff? Again, dream big my fellow fashionistas.
BOUTIQUE OWNER
I actually have a good friend who is a very successful boutique own and who is also still going to school. This is definitely a career for the determined and entrepreneurial type person, but if you commit to this and do your research and know your fashion, you could be rolling in the dough as a successful boutique owner.
FASHION BUYER
A fashion buyer selects the apparel and accessories for retail stores. Believe it or not, but a lot of stores don’t have their own personal designer, so they actually go through catalogus and stuff to pick out the clothing. Amazing job, right? Well, you need to know the trends and your targeted audience in order to be successful in this position.
FASHION PR SPECIALIST
You know all those fashion guru‘s all over Youtube? Well they are the type of people a fashion public relations specialist would deal with. Pretty much what this position consists of is helping companies and stores build a public image. So back to my youtube guru example, a lot of PR specialists contact these ladies to do reviews of a certain product because they are admired amongst many young viewers.
FASHION WRITER
Oooh, this is right up my alley! A fashion writer would do articles for magazines, websites, blogs, newspapers and television. Again, you’re going to have to know how to write.
FASHION MERCHANDISER
A fashion merchandiser is kind of similar to a fashion buyer. The difference is that the merchandisers often creates looks from the clothing that is purchased. They also look into the costs and sales and trends to determine what’s going to be the next best thing for the upcoming season.
FASHION MODEL
Wouldn’t this be fabulous? What’s better than owning amazing clothing and working with amazing clothing? The two combined! You have to have the look to persuade people to purchase whatever it is that you are advertising (wearing).
As many of these sub categories state, there is some sort of education that you will need to be an eligible candidate for any of these jobs. Some require journalism, others require business… but to start, you can go ahead with that fashion design or merchandising course!
Cons Of Jobs Involving Travel
Who doesn’t love traveling? Even better… who doesn’t love traveling when it is their job and expenses are (almost always) paid for? Sounds like a perfect job, right? And it surely is, but you also want to consider what your personal goals are for your future. The biggest con about careers that involve traveling is being away from home often and for long periods of times… and sporadically.
For example, I once dated this guy who’s mom was a flight attendant. She loved her job, but she was never home. She missed Christmas’, birthdays, family get gatherings and so much more. However, she chose this as her career prior to getting married and having children so it is all she knows. She loves what she does, but she hates that she misses so many things, but most, misses her family. Her options? Continue doing what she loves, and continuing to hate missing out on things… or take some online college courses and switch up her career to something more suitable for her lifestyle.

If you have the time and commitment and are already in a job where frequent traveling is required, you may want to consider going back to school. If you are worried about funds, there are so many scholarships and grants, and even super easy scholarships, so get applying and change your happiness!
However, on the flip side, some people don’t mind being away like this or have already decided that they do not want to get married or have children. Heck, if you love traveling and/or your job that involves travel, you are the one that gets to determine your priorities and goals right? So just be sure to consider the pros and cons of all jobs. Determine whether or not the cons outweigh the pros.
You may not think you want kids right now, but in 5 to 10 years, your mind may change. But at least you have that option to switch your career up. Just remember that you only live once. Consider all options, pros and cons, and your happiness.
At the end of the day, your happiness is in your control. Think of your future and how things may change. If you decide that your career has too much traveling, you can always go back to school… even online school to avoid too much time being taken up from courses.
If you can handle being away for long periods of times, the biggest con of a job that involves traveling is already taken care of. The rest is smooth sailing…. pun intended!
HA HA
